Datsugi is a software engineering firm with a data obsession.
The team behind Datsugi spent years observing data patterns, the evolution of AI, and cloud architectures best suited to maximizing data value.
Why the name Datsugi?
Our brand name comes from the Japanese forestry technique "Daisugi", which means platform of trees - it's not the easiest to pronounce, but it represents us well.
Building the Right Foundations
The "Daisugi" technique focuses on building the right foundation (i.e. platform) before planting further trees on top. This is exactly how we operate: first, architect the foundations for scalable data operations, then build on top.
Building for Longevity
In "Daisugi", when new cedar trees are planted on top of the base tree, their roots rejuvenate those of the foundation. This is the same approach we take: adding value with each additional "branch" on top of a base platform.
Building with Precision
Without the proper forestry techniques, the "Daisugi" practice would not be possible. We have the same philosophy: observe best practices, learn from applying them, and pass the expertise on to our customers.
A team of engineers & project experts
Our goal is to accurately scope and deliver successful data projects.
